Vilaflor - Paisaje Lunar

Aparcamos en la calle sin salida que esta a la izquierda de la plaza de Vilaflor al lado de la iglesia.

Cruzamos la plaza y bajamos por la calle los castaños y luego giramos a la izquierda por la segunda entrada que nos cruzamos, en la siguiente bifurcación cogemos a la izquierda otra vez y según vamos subiendo giramos a la derecha por una entrada empedrada paralela a una casa.

Seguimos por el sendero cruzando una pista y subiendo pegado a una finca con un gran deposito de agua, volvemos a cruzarnos con otra pista sobre la que subiremos unos metros para después coger el sendero que asciende a mano derecha.

Nos mantenemos por esta sendero que tiene un fuerte desnivel en algunos tramos, pasando al lado de varias entradas a fincas particulares, después de pasar Casa Galinda, nos desviamos por el sendero que cruza el barranco de las mesas para llegar a la pista Madre del Agua y seguir subiendo por el sendero marcado con las señales de PR y GR. Según vamos subiendo nos encontramos una bifurcación en la que ambos senderos son el PR-TF 72, subimos por el de la izquierda para cruzar la pista Fuente de Agua y pasar por delante de la Casa Marrubial.

Seguimos subiendo y nos encontramos una bifurcación, a mano izquierda el GR-131 sube a Guajara en el P.N. del Teide y a mano derecha el sendero por el que bajaremos hasta el 1º mirador del Paisaje Lunar, una vez en el mirador bajamos siguiendo los mojones de piedra hasta el 2º mirador donde encontraremos otra vez las marcas del PR., seguimos bajando sin desviarnos hasta encontrarnos en menos de diez metros dos cruces, en el primero el camino de la izquierda conduce a Madre del Agua, nosotros seguimos por el de la derecha y el el segundo, seguimos de frente hacia Vilaflor ignorando el que desciende que conduce a la Cruz de Tea (PR-TF 83) y a las Vegas (PR-TF 83.1).

Cruzamos la pista Fuente Agria sin salirnos del sendero y llegamos a la Casa de los Llanitos donde podemos ver un espectacular pino centenario, llegamos a la pista Madre del Agua y tras caminar sobre esta unos metros nos desviamos a la derecha para seguir nuestra marcha por el sendero y llegar a la primera bifurcación que nos encontrábamos durante el ascenso, ahora solo queda regresar a Vilaflor haciendo el mismo recorrido de la subida en sentido inverso.


We parked at the dead end that is to the left of the square of Vilaflor beside the church.

We followed the trail crossing a runway and struck up a property with a large water tank , we again crossing with another track to climb a few meters and then take the path that goes right.

We stand by this path that has a steep slope in some sections, passing by several entrances to private properties after passing House Galinda , we deviate from the path that crosses the ravine of the tables to get to the track Mother Water and continue up the path marked by the signs of PR and GR . As we climb we found a bifurcation in which both paths are the PR- TF 72 , went up the left to cross the track we Water Fountain and walk past the Marrubial House .

We followed up and found a fork, to the left the GR -131 Guajara rises in PN Teide and to the right the path we go down to the 1st viewpoint moonscape , once in the gazebo down following stone markers to the 2nd viewpoint where meet again marks PR . , we continue down without turning until we in less than ten meters two crosses in the first road on the left leads to Madre del Agua , we continue on the right and the second , continue straight towards Vilaflor we ignoring the descending leading to the Cross of Tea (PR -TF 83) and Vegas (PR -TF 83.1 ) .

We crossed the track Fuente Agria without leaving the trail and arrived at the House of Llanitos where we can see a spectacular pine centenary , we Mother Runway Water and after walking about this a few meters we turn right to follow our progress by path and reach the first fork we met during ascent, now just go back to doing the same route Vilaflor rise in reverse.
