Collingswood:It's Where You Want To Quarantine

Our names are Kate Schell and Maura McCallion, and this is our Plot-A-Route story. We are two teens from Collingswood, New Jersey, bored out of our minds during the Covid19 quarantine. After being sent home from college in early March, online classes are finally ending. It is day 52 of being cooped up inside and we have hatched a "brilliant" plan. What is this plan? We're glad you asked. We saw on social media that it has become a trend to walk a marathon in one day. As competitive as we are, we felt it was necessary to one-up everyone. Instead of walking just a marathon, we chose to walk every street in our town. Every. Single. Street. Now before you go on "In the Wood" and post about us, we will be walking across the street from each other the whole way. We thought we lived in a small town, at 2 sq miles, but it ended up being a 75-mile walk. Determined to complete this in 5 days, we decided to do one marathon, two half marathons, and two "lighter" days of 10 miles. We anticipate the pain to be excruciating, but we spent two hours mapping this out, so the show must go on. What do we think we will feel? Feet, pounding on the sidewalk. The sun, beating down on our shoulders. The dire need for water and food. However, the feeling of accomplishment once we complete this will outweigh it all. Hopefully. We urge you to do this in your own towns or follow our map if you're a fellow Collingswoodian. We hope to update you with pictures along the way, and a recap of our adventure afterward.

Edit- So. Here's the deal. Apparently the app defaults to km instead of miles. Thus, those 75 "miles" were really 47. However, we already told everyone and their mother that we were walking 75 miles, and when we make promises, we deliver. Therefore, we had to add miles from surrounding towns. We had to walk 20 miles in Oaklyn and Haddon Township. So if you want to legitimately follow our map, we suggest you stop at 47 miles to complete the town of Collingswood.
